Jack's Story
$35.00
Jack Short, the author of "Jack's Story", is Judy Frost's Dad. This is a great read telling the story of his early life on the Atherton Tablelands, Queensland Australia. It's a story of fun and hardship, joy and sorrow. It's set in the pioneering days of North Queensland when trees were felled and farms established, amidst a tropical paradise which few farmers had time to enjoy. Jack worked hard, as you'll find out. He also learned how to read and write and to value education highly. He even married the local schoolteacher and produced a couple of little schoolteachers as well as two other fine children.
